Vision Statement: Breckenridge Pride ... Inspiring to Excel!

Congratulations to the One-Act Play Cast and Crew!  They placed second in the subsection meet on Saturday, January 23, qualifying them for advancement to the Section meet in Wadena on January 30. Breckenridge performed "Bedbugs" by Leah Genuario. Four individual awards were given at the meet with two of them going to Breckenridge Actors:  Tyler Rittenhouse earned Outstanding Actor and Dominic Erickson earned Star Actor!

The Creative Foods students at BHS incorporated everything they learned during first semester for their final. The student driven final included preparing and serving a multi course (8 items) sit down meal.
The first day meal included: jalapeno popper appetizers, white chili served in home-made bread bowls, a small chef's salad, entree' of chicken tenders with sides of garlic mashed potatoes and lightly charred asparagus, followed by a crème brulee dessert. Pictured above is Allison Lorenz torching the sugar for the crème brulee. The meal was topped off with sparkling apple cider.
Not to be outdone, the second service day (group 2) served buffalo chicken balls as an appetizer, broccoli cheese soup, fresh fruit summer salad, fresh homemade  bread, tempura walleye with sides of green bean casserole and lightly fried red potato wedges, followed by a light graham cracker and pudding layered dessert. To top of the meal, medieval barley lemonade was served.
